We’re just ONE SUNDAY AWAY from worshiping together for the first time in our brand new, permanent facility! We hope everyone is making plans to join us at 390 York Southern Road on Sunday, January 21st. Two Opportunities… 9:30 and 11:15am.
Many of you have been asking “How Can I Help?” As Pastor Nate said Sunday, the answer might not be what you’re expecting… “This is me, giving you an opportunity to be part of something bigger than yourself.”
Here are THREE THINGS anyone who calls Lifepointe “home” can do to help ensure our church is well-positioned to continue making eternal impacts long into the future:
1. Join the 30 Days of Prayer & Fasting
Prayer is what connects us to the voice of God. Fasting allows us to eliminate distractions from connecting with God on a deeper level. The two together help us hit the reset button of our soul, and renews us from the inside out. Imagine what could happen if we ALL seek what God would have us do over the next 30 days. Find out more about our Prayer & Fasting event through our events page at https://www.lifepointecc.com/experience/#events.
2. Become a Percentage Giver
We believe giving reflects the heart, since what we give is an indicator of the level of gratitude we have for what Jesus has done for us. New locations come with new and different expenses. So, if you are not already, will you consider becoming obedient in your finances this year by regularly giving (“tithing”) a percentage back to God through the local church? For more information, visit the Give page of our website at https://www.lifepointecc.com/give/
3. Join a Serve Team
We call everyone serving at Lifepointe “Impact Leaders”, because when you serve, you are making eternal impacts in the lives of others. Serving is your opportunity to make a long-term investment in the future of Lifepointe and our surrounding communities for generations to come. For more information, visit the Next Steps section of our website at https://www.lifepointecc.com/next-steps/#serving
To join the many at Lifepointe who committed to being part of “3 Ways You Can Help” this past Sunday, just look for the commitment cards in the auditorium when you arrive THIS Sunday January 14th.
And speaking of THIS Sunday, we hope everyone is making plans to join us for our Open House experience at the new building that evening! This is your opportunity to tour the new facility, ask questions and get a feel for what you can expect when you arrive before our first official Sunday! To help with traffic flow outside and inside the building, we’re asking everyone who regularly attends 1st service (9:30), to join us at 5pm, and our 2nd service (11:15) to join us at 6pm. Be sure to look for signs and further instructions from the Lifepointe Parking Team as usual.
And, if you have a container of dirt from our Groundbreaking Ceremony in March, please bring it with you… more details will be available when you arrive!
